What’s worth chasing for?

Do you ever feel so damn tired?

Do you ever feel like everything is getting on top of you?

Do certain events give you sleepless nights?

Do you feel like there is no one you can talk to?

If your answer was yes for all those questions, I know how you feel.

LIFE is so straining. And sometimes you think, ‘For what? What is this for? Why am I stressing?’ The sad truth is, nothing. You’re doing everything you’re doing, for nothing. One day you’ll die and all the things you laboured on will be gone – vanished.

I hate to sound like a party pooper but that’s life. Life is vanity. We are all working and trying and stressing and working and pleading, for what really?

Now do not get me wrong, I am not saying we shouldn’t try hard, I’m just saying that we need to remember that nothing is forever. Not every friendship will be there till the end. Not every job will be there when you need it. That’s life. There isn’t a great deal you can do about it. It’s best to buckle your boots up and move forward.

What am I saying? I’m saying, when someone leaves your life, don’t breakdown about it. Assess it; did I really, actually need him? Was she the best person to spend my time on? Half the time we realise, that them leaving was for the best.

I am tired of chasing unnecessary, unreliable things. I’m up for chasing things that make this time on earth enjoyable. Not material things but things, people, that make me happy. Things of importance and significance.

We need joy. I believe everyone deserves joy. And that, and only that, is worth chasing for.

A window into my crazy, weird mind.

Peace&Love.
